Review: (#1) It feels like it’s trying too hard to be evocative and yet doesn’t feel the least bit so.

(#2) A bright design that isn’t terribly interesting. While it might make some bigots uncomfortable, its creativity is severely lacking.

Review: (#1) The narration is brash and off-putting. The comedy is cheap and predictable. For all of its attempts to suggest that straight guys could love gay rom-coms, it sure feels like the most generic of rom-coms possible.

(#2) What a difference some details make. The first trailer was unnecessarily simplistic, lacking specificity or intrigue. This trailer gets more into the details of the film and cobbles together some genuinely funny moments while making the core concept appealing.
