Review: (#1) There’s some small measure of intrigue in the first trailer. Although it looks mostly like the kind of movie that never would have made a big screen release back in the 1980s, it is being pushed by Netflix as a solid sci-fi outing.

(#2) While the second trailer gives more detail about the universe and the stakes at play in the film, it also makes the film look more haphazard and poorly designed, and less compelling, if that was even possible.

(#3) The third trailer makes the film seem a bit more palatable, and the graphics are more appealing, but every cheaply theatrical element to sci-fi action vehicles is here and that isn’t very interesting.
