Review: It’s simple, but so is childhood. With a movie like this you don’t have to sell it, but being more creative wouldn’t hurt.

Review: The concept alone is worth the effort. While I’ve never been a fan of Richard Linklater, the premise is intriguing. The trailer points out the childhood-spanning elements and keeps the focus on the titular character even when modestly prominent actors also appear.

Oscar Prospects:

Richard Linklater has such an interesting concept of a script here that it could nab an Origianl Screenplay nomination, but I doubt much else will follow.
