Review: (#1) There is something primal about this poster design. It’s simple, but visually evocative. (#2) This poster doesn’t feel like it speaks to the film’s fantastical elements, nor to its down-to-earth qualities. (#3) Reminiscent of something either Wes Anderson or David Lynch might have done, this poster is quite strange and enigmatic, which makes it somewhat appealing. (#4) While about as dull as design #2, this poster is visually more interesting than that one.
Trailer Rating: C+

Review: If they focused in more on the bizarre nature of the subject matter, it would have felt a more fascinating feature. Instead they are going for mystery and that mystery doesn’t feel nearly as compelling as it should.
Oscar Prospects:
It’s an Oscar submission, but I suspect the subject matter might not jibe with Academy tastes.
