Review: (#1) While it’s a clear PhotoShop job, the blending of the background into the forefigures is strong and the content does evoke the film’s essence, so it’s a success for the most part.
(#2-#5) Whether it was intentional or pre-planned, positioning these four women in front of statues with genitalia, especially after recent attempts to censor art in Florida, make for an interesting sales gimmick even if they are uninspired choices.
Trailer Rating: B- / B-

Review: (#1) A few nice bits of humor, an enjoyable cast, and the end result is a film that will sell itself to fans of the original and might earn a few converts.
(#2) It’s always going to be a challenge to make this sort of film appealing to younger audiences, so digging into familiar tropes and motifs satisfies those who enjoy these elder romantic comedies. It’s engaging enough with a few nice, but inconsequential, bits of comedy.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
