Review: (#1) This design doesn’t quite tell the audience enough about this story, especially since we’re not used to seeing immigrant stories featuring Asian American characters. That nitpick aside, it’s a strong, simple image that speaks well. (#2) Too much vacant space and not enough thematic relevance.

Review: It’s a story we haven’t heard told before, which could give it some bonus points with audiences. The trailer does set the premise out there for the audiences to understand, but it provides perhaps too many details about the direction and destination of the plot, which might make it difficult to sell.
Oscar Prospects:
It has an important premise and features some strong actors, but I have trouble seeing this mid-September release as being able to hold on to the end of the year.
