Review: (#1) Black power vs. white power. It’s a dichotomy that infuses the essence of the film, which gives the poster design plenty of weight.
(#2) Another strong poster design for this film with the symbolic white-pointed hat in the background. While it’s not as amusing as the first poster, it’s no less biting. (#3) American in black-and-white, that’s what this poster suggests with its color-less flag design that has interesting ways the foreground image interacts with it.
Trailer Rating: B+

Review: It’s been awhile since a Spike Lee joint has looked this compelling. With early reception being almost rapturous, the trailer only solidifies the kind of early buzz needed to sell the movie.
Oscar Prospects:
This will be one of the year’s big Oscar players thanks to its superb reception at Cannes.
