Synopsis:

From IMDb: “After losing the woman of his dreams, Merlin moves to Las Vegas to pursue work as a magician, only to get hired as the front man in a revival of the notorious black male stripper crew, The Chocolate Chips. Led by Luther – now broke and broken – the old, domesticated, out-of-shape Chips put aside former conflicts and reunite to save the hotel they used to perform in while helping Merlin win back his girl.”

Review: (#1 & #2) This pair of simple poster designs try their best to create interest in the cheesiness of the title, but struggle to find something that will appeal beyond fans of the stars. It doesn’t have much panache, which seems fitting for the movie itself.

Review: Apart from looking a bit mawkish, the film’s narrative is presented as something like a cross between The Full Monty and Magic Mike and finding humor in neither. These are talented actors given mediocre material and the trailer only confirms that impression.
