Review: It appears to simply be a scene from the film, which isn’t terribly exciting. The appearance of an earless Willem Dafoe might appeal to some, but only those who are anticipating this film.

Review: Wanting its cake and eating it too, this trailer tries to set itself up as a very unusual sort of film while building its premise off a very conventional subject. Julian Schnabel’s involvement is felt, but given short shrift.

Oscar Prospects:

There’s talk of Willem Dafoe being a major Oscar player and that’s likely true. The film has limited options, but could also be in play.
