Review: (#1) This looks like a dime-store poster designed for children to hang on their walls because it has “cool” stuff on it. For everyone else, it’s distracting, poorly constructed and feels utterly cheap. (#2) You can’t really say it’s subtle, but the character is walking slightly levitated with interesting symbolic imagery to boot. It may not be the most inventive, but it’s a lot more interesting than the first design.

Review: The only thing that makes the film look fun is Stephen Dorff who seems to be having a blast acting in this one. While some of the narrative elements on display appear formulaic, there’s a genuine attempt to be different and divergent from the standard superhero claptrap.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
