Review: (#1) It’s somewhat sensual, but there’s too much blank, wasted space. (#2) A little more action oriented, and fits within the film’s framework, but there’s still a lot of vacant real estate on the poster.

Review: (#1) It’s strange how so many World War II dramas seem the same, especially those that involve espionage and romance. This looks a lot like the others, but Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard could elevate it quite well. This could end up being one of the year’s most intriguing films.
(#2) A strong, well crafted trailer that sets this up as a love affair with potentially deadly ramifications. It has all the intrigue, romance, and sexiness it needs to help make the film a success.
Oscar Prospects:
Releasing in the prime of Oscar campaigning season, this film has a lot of strong positives that make it a lead contender. Critics will have to embrace it, but its two stars should be counted among the major contenders this year.
