Synopsis:
From IMDb: “At an international school in Jakarta, a philosophy teacher challenges his class of twenty graduating seniors to choose which ten of them would take shelter underground and reboot the human race in the event of a nuclear apocalypse.”
Poster: B / C- (2) / C+
Review: The first design is creative, but misleading. Watching the trailer tells you something different than the poster. The poster makes this look like a bunch of youngsters trying to cope after a nuclear holocaust. The second and third design are identical with the third design being more richly colored and broadly detailed. The fourth design is attractive, yet a tad bit hollow.
Trailer: B-
Review: Where as the poster makes this look like a film that actually takes place after a nuclear holocaust, the trailer positions this as a philosophical exercise for a class of youngsters to determine who they would save and who they would allow to die in such an event. The trailer does make it seem like an interesting and unique film, but the movie should have been more widely touted were it that exciting.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
