Review: (#1, C+) It gives a small inkling of the type of film you should be anticipating and that’s helpful but the empty black space is diminishing.

(#2, C+) While it plays into the young girl’s ballet dress, it’s not an original concept and the colors are overused. It’s probably the most creative they can get. (#3, C-) Why Dolby needs its own design for this, no one may ever know but it’s a dull concept that makes it look less like a horror film and more of a Black Swan retread.

Trailer Rating: C+ / B-

Review: (#1, C+) This twist on the horror genre has some basis in past films but is largely unique. The trailer sets up the premise well but eventually devolves into familiar horror tropes and struggles to maintain its potential for inventiveness.

(#2, B-) Getting into more of the gore and the excitement, this trailer doesn’t quite tell the viewer what the set-up to the premise is but that might not matter as much as this should look far more involving to a horror fan.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
