Review: A lovely piece of art that might suffer from a lack of background detail, but the striking artistic beauty of the central image makes up for a lot of that.

Review: A mother reclaiming her child from the foster care system seems at first reckless, but ultimately speaks to the bond between mother and child. The trailer does an effective job making this dangerous relationship feel appealing and Teyana Taylor looks to deliver a potent performance. Trailers so seldom give that kind of impression that when they are this structurally generic, that still counts for something.
Oscar Prospects:
Teyana Taylor looks good in the trailer, so she has potential, but this almost feels like a derivation of Moonlight, which might mute its impact.
