Review: (#1, C) Simple but not evocative. That’s the worst description you can give a movie poster. Simple and evocative is good, complex and evocative is better, and complex but not evocative is ok but to be simple and say nothing is dull.

Review: (#1, C+) This might have made a good Movie of the Week on television in the 1980s but as a big screen effort, the material is a bit thin to support such a medium. Elizabeth Banks looks like she’s doing good work and some elements hint at important themes but a lot of those themes were previously explored in much better ways throughout the 1970s and 1980s making this look a bit questionable.
