Review: (#1) For those who’ve seen Killer Klowns from Outer Space, this isn’t that scary. For those who haven’t, it might be slightly scary; however, the construction is too simplistic to be artistically interesting. (#2-#5) These character posters are each unique, but unified. That doesn’t mean they are that interesting, though.
(#6) This design, similar to those used by circuses at the turn of the century and later, is a fitting design for a film that seems like a giant circus filled with killer clowns and brash theatricals. (#7) Picking up on the style of design six, this poster combines that with the look of a classic big screen epic, a pyramid of visages designed to give of a sense of grandeur. This design works best of all of them.
Trailer Rating: B / C+

Review: (#1) The trailer is a bit jumbled, but it will easily reach its target audience with minimum frustration and with a strong creation of interest.
(#2) The chaos of the trailer is distracting. The film looks garish and sensational without being particularly compelling. Much of the setup for the film is absent, which doesn’t speak to its purpose nearly as well as its predecessor.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
