Review: (#1) Interesting concept, but there’s too little information contained in the numerals to make it as compelling as it needs to be. (#2) The same concept with a bit more detail within the numbers makes for a much more fascinating look.

(#3) This is one of the better IMAX designs I’ve seen with plenty of action, highlighting the point of featuring it in the large format.

Trailer Rating: A- / A- / B+

Review: (#1) A terrific combination of music, mood, and narrative presentation makes for a film that looks surprisingly engaging.

(#2) The quality of trailer design continues with a similarly terrific blend of music, mood, and narrative. There’s enough difference here to keep the two trailers looking distinct.

(#3) There isn’t much different here than the prior trailers, which makes it feel a bit passรฉ.

Oscar Prospects:

Sam Mendes’ latest film is sure to be a major Oscar player this year as the Academy loves its war films and Mendes has done well with the Academy before.
