Review: A still from the film, especially a black-and-white still, just doesn’t have the impact of selling the film. It does identify the kind of film it is, but that won’t be enough to bring people to the theater.

Review: Films set in and around the Holocaust, exploring its myriad layers, can quickly become tiresome even when mining new material. This one seems to be doing some interesting work, but the trailer doesn’t entirely compel the viewer to watch it.
