Review: Reminds me a bit of the poster design for Short Term 12. It somewhat highlights the joys of youth and pulls images from the trailer to create linking familiarity.

Review: Straight forward dramas are a dime a dozen and it’s hard to sell a film like this without making it feel a touch hokey. The trailer tries going for the acclaim angle hoping to set it apart in a crowded marketplace. That may not work.
Oscar Prospects:
There’s chatter that Willem Dafoe turns in an Oscar-caliber performance, which could catapult this film into the Oscar race, but unlikely anywhere other than Best Supporting Actor. Dafoe could also win thanks to a longevity that few actors can truly lay claim to.
