Review: (#1) A nice design that conjures images of the great kid-targeted dramas of the 1980s. (#2) Designed to look like a diary, this poster works very well at conveying itself to the viewer even if it doesn’t have quite the impact of the first design. (#3) Reminiscent of numerous designs surrounding incredibly smart people, especially children. It doesn’t have much visual excitement to pull in the viewer.

(#4) The attempt at photorealism is nice, but looking at it in too much detail reveals that it is far too shiny to be real, which is a bit frustrating…were it for an animated film, it would be superb.

Review: A dark, compelling look at one boy and his mother and their extraordinary effort to protect their young neighbor from abuse. Perhaps too dark for most kids, this trailer seems squarely targeted at parents, which would seem an odd decision, though perhaps the right one.
