Review: (#1) An interesting way to build recognition of the film’s premise into the design. If it weren’t for the dull white background and the out-of-place title graphic, this design might work better. (#2) Going with the title graphic and nothing else isn’t a winning combination.
Trailer Rating: B+ / B

Review: (#1) As generic as the premise sounds on paper, this trailer presents a winning, charismatic lead performance that could be quite moving if you can quickly attach yourself to the lead, which seems likely. It sounds like a story that’s too precious and overwritten, but that’s precisely what the target viewing demographic wants.
(#2) The film continues to appeal, but this latest trailer focuses far too much on the romantic drama and not enough on the family relationship between an overprotective mother and a dangerously ill daughter, which is sadly underplayed.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
