Review: (#1) What is the inversion and why is it such a small reference on the poster. The only other element that references it is the upside-down clock on the wall. Otherwise, I can’t imagine anyone wanting to give this more than a cursory glance.
(#2) The only major difference between the first poster and this second one is that there’s visual distortion, befitting the odd nature of the film’s trailer and a coloration change, which isn’t too exciting and is perhaps a little more disinteresting.
Trailer Rating: B- / B-

Review: (#1) The trailer creates the impression of an unusual film that will test the mind’s capability of rationalizing what it sees. That alone, and not the seemingly uninteresting premise, is the only reason this trailer works.
(#2) Positioning itself as a strange, bizarre, and twisted movie with a lot of weird and unusual events might help it gain some traction among curiosity seekers, but the film feels a bit too odd for mass interest or appreciation.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
