We had a large number of new trailers and posters this week, plus a slightly pushed ahead release date for True Grit. For a better count, there were 8 new 2010 trailers and 8 new posters; and there were 5 new 2011 trailers with 1 new poster. Here’s what I thought were the best of the week.

Poster Highlights: It’s hard to question a triptych done well and the one put together for Tron Legacy hits nearly every right note. It’s not a perfect set of posters in the least, but it fits beautifully together. As for its nearest competition? There wasn’t much. The new poster for Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale is the best of them.
Trailer Highlights: The 2011 new trailers were on the most part terrible, but the 2010 trailers had a nice combination of originality and intrigue. The trailer for Navidad S.A. is handily beats the rest, but the trailers for Regresa and The Way Back were worthy competitors.
