Review: There’s probably some high minded concept behind this poster, whether it’s the characters giant status or something else isn’t as evident. It’s a unique design in terms of the current poster landscape, but that’s just not enough to make it good.

Review: (#1) This trailer doesn’t do a very good job selling the film’s premise, which doesn’t help get Richard Gere noticed. Down on his luck, we get. A once-significant power player, we get. What his goal is, we don’t get. That’s a problem for a film like this.
(#2) While it’s nice to see Richard Gere get challenging work, this film looks challenging in a whole other way: getting through the premise without getting irritated, bored, or both.
Oscar Prospects:
Richard Gere might be a minor contender for Best Actor, but I wouldn’t put too much stock in that.
