Synopsis:

From IMDb: “Father, author and relationship expert, Matthew Taylor is on a whirlwind book tour promoting his new best seller, The Bounce Back. He’s got it all figured out until he meets the acerbic Kristin Peralta, a talk show circuit therapist who’s convinced he’s nothing but a charlatan. Matthew’s life is turned upside down when he inadvertently falls for Kristin and has to face a painful truth of his past relationship.”

Review: (#1 & #2) Whomever threw together these designs was clearly uninterested in creating something artistically pleasing. The first design uses a lot of clashing, garish colors that overtake the design. This momentarily distracts from the cut-and-paste Photoshop job employed on putting the characters on the rinky-dink background. The second design gets rid of the excessive garishness of the title and title-background colors while not resolving the issue of the tacked-on appearance of the characters. The cheap background doesn’t help matters much, but it looks a little more interesting than the prior design, but only because the Photshop cut-and-paste job isn’t as obvious.

Review: Apart from a handful of inspired comic moments, all involving young actress Nadja Alaya (who appears on the poster, but gets no credit in the list of names at the top), the trailer paints the picture of a generic romantic comedy that lacks inventiveness or unpredictability.
