Review: An interesting story played out in very commonplace terms will certainly have its appeal in certain demographics. That it’s releasing in March rather than in prime Oscar season, considering its subject matter, creates is a major red flag.
Oscar Prospects:
It’s too early to tell, but the film tends to play to Academy interests and with Jessica Chastain on target for an Oscar nomination this year, she could be a hot property for next year as well. However, the March release isn’t going to help its case by the end of the year.
