Review: (#1) The subtle figure in the background might give away a plot element, but the distraction of the woman bathing might be too distracting for casual viewers.
(#2) This is a horror film, not a noir thriller. While that doesn’t mean this kind of aesthetic cannot be used in other genre, it just doesn’t feel quite right in this regard even if it’s a bit stylish.

Review: There’s something unsatisfying about the trailer. Whether it’s the familiar tone or style, or if it’s the possibility that astute viewers may pick up on the likely twist, but the entire trailer is too similar to a lot of others and doesn’t give too much impetus to non-traditional genre fans to have much of a passing interest.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
