Review: (#1 & #2) These two trailers aren’t too different from one another. Both present a film that wants to spoof the mostly white Purge films in a way to showcase that even though they suggest this is all about the poor and about race, that they aren’t doing that. The problem is this film doesn’t look particularly funny. Had we gotten something from the likes of the Wayans in a type of Scary Movie premise, it might have felt a little more interesting and authentic.
