Review: (#1) It’s almost exactly as expected, but that may be why it’s so ineffective. There’s nothing original or inventive and the tagline is cheap.

(#2) Apart from the striking blue eyes, there’s nothing particularly notable, memorable or creative about this design.

(#3) A foreign rehash of a previous design doesn’t add anything in the way of depth. (#4) Strangely, removing the humans from the poster makes it a lot better. That may speak more to the potential quality of the film than the poster design itself.

Trailer Rating: D+ / C- / C-

Review: (#1) Some trailers excited and entice. Some just drain and deflate. This one falls into the latter category, dragging on as if the world was enraptured, but essentially wasn’t.

(#2 & #3) These two trailers don’t have a lot of differences, and their reflection of the film is similar. This appears to be a corny attempt to tap into the Look Who’s Talking type film of the 1980s and 1990s. It’s a shallow, mirthless exploration of parental skills gone awry and the cheap, predictable lesson that will accompany the finale.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
