One of the last remaining Universal titles, a film I saw when it released in theaters.
Jurassic World
Stars: Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D’Onofrio, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, BD Wong, Irrfan Khan, Judy Greer
Director: Colin Treverrow
Premise: From IMDb: “A new theme park is built on the original site of Jurassic Park. Everything is going well until the park’s newest attraction–a genetically modified giant stealth killing machine–escapes containment and goes on a killing spree.”
Oscar Chances: Isolated: Outside of Best Sound Mixing, Best Sound Editing and Best Visual Effects, the film has little chance of Oscar nominations and wins are doubtful.
