Release Date:
September 4, 2015
Synopsis:
From IMDb: “Two strangers stuck in Manhattan for the night grow into each other’s most trusted confidants when an evening of unexpected adventure forces them to confront their fears and take control of their lives.”
Poster Rating: D+
Review: I suppose you only need Chris Evans to sell the film, but ultimately something more visceral or notable would have drawn passers-by to the design, which is sometimes the only way anyone will know a film like this exists.
Trailer Rating: C+
Review: Without Evans charming personality, this trailer would come off like a generic, frustratingly unoriginal concept piece with a romantic entanglement that felt obligatory rather than natural. The film still looks like it might be that way, but Evans will certainly add a sparse amount of gravitas.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
