Review: With all the tools available to designers these days, I don’t see how they could construct something so absolutely banal, visually forgettable and unmistakably bland.

Trailer Rating: B-

Review: If it weren’t for the cast, I’m not sure if this piece would be that interesting. The trailer tries its hardest to create a sense of tension, but it also appears to be just a regular, coming of age story. Typically those two subjects are combined easily, here the relationship looks strained.

Oscar Prospects:

If it didn’t look so incredibly generic, it might be a vehicle for Elle Fanning to finally enter the Oscar conversation. However, I suspect that will not be the case.
