Review: (#1) Meryl Streep in rocker attire. It may be a unusual sight, but it’s not one that will drive droves of people to the box office.

(#2) There isn’t much difference here, except the addition of scene blocks across the middle. It’s a slight improvement, though. Unfortunately, it’s also in German.

Trailer Rating: B+

Review: As much as this film has the potential to be another Music of the Heart or any of the 1990’s Meryl Streep dramedies, the trailer makes it seem like a possibly insightful look at family relations and seeing Streep alongside her real life daughter is a bit unnerving, but also interesting.

Oscar Prospects:

Meryl Streep is very likely to be nominated. She’s been mentioned for worse performances. Another win is exceedingly unlikely. The film could also earn a nomination for her daughter.
