Review: (#1) Clearly, the intent is to draw those who are familiar with the original into the sequel, but for everyone else, it’s completely unexciting. (#2) Nothing to see here. Nothing to see. Move on, citizen. I mean it. There’s really nothing to see except a bunch of characters a boring old white background.

(#3) It’s the most detailed and rich design the studio has come up with, but it’s unfortunately not an English-language design. (#4) The cheesy grins and the generic design make this a forgettable piece. (#5) While the film is clearly not The Right Stuff uses elements of that motif makes for a more attractive design. (#6) The white background does this one in, making it look utterly vacant in spite of its bountiful collection of characters.

(#7) It’s a bad pun and while I normally like them, the overall design is too overbearing and plain. (#8-#16) Nine character posters is excessive, but not unwarranted considering the size of the cast. However, doing something more than altering the background colors might have made these more compelling.

Trailer Rating: C+ / C+

Review: (#1) Mildly cute, but largely unappealing unless you’re both a fan of Adam Sandler’s humor and a fan of the original film. (#2) More of the same, but with a plot that actually makes sense. However, making sense doesn’t always mean enticing and once again, we’re left with a film that will appeal to fans and few others.
