Synopsis:
From IMDb: “All You Need Is Love focuses on the many thousands of children that exist in and around the Thai-Burma border and specifically through the children of Good Morning School in Mae Sot, Thailand. By introducing you to their lives, their hopes and their dreams, we hope that we can show how the power of the positive works in extreme circumstances.”
Poster: D+
Review: There are brazen, put-upon children in Southeast Asia, but this semi-hopeful, entirely generic design is neither captivating nor compelling, which won’t get the film as much attention as they hope.
Trailer: C
Review: Less so than the poster, this trailer plays like a fundraising film shown at a UNICEF gathering. It hits on all the negative statistics and figures that will put the plights of these children into perspective without seeming like anything more than a simplistic Educate the Children documentary shown on television during a telethon of some kind.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
