Review: (#1-#4) There four designs, but they are all cut from similar cloth. The second and fourth designs are entirely too generic. They lack anything remotely resembling attention-grabbing spectacle. The first and third designs try something visually striking. It works better in the third design than the first, but there’s just not enough design pizzazz to get the audience interested.

Review: Nicole Kidman’s genre efforts have been lackluster in recent years. She’s failed to pick up a project that doesn’t seem like a desperate attempt to collect a paycheck. The key to know whether the film will be any good is the presence of Mark Strong who seems to take jobs in some of the worst films made in the last decade. Even if this didn’t look like a female-centric thriller on a Memento theme, the paint-by-numbers construction hints loudly that there isn’t much here.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
