Review: Music documentaries have become an overabundant force in recent years and most of them are looking a lot alike. This one doesn’t have much difference from the myriad others in the marketplace and fails to sell its subject’s significance to anyone who isn’t already familiar with him or doesn’t find a life story in documentary form appealing.
