Review: (#1 & #2) Bold, white backgrounds may be symbolic, but they aren’t helpful. The first design is bland, uneventful and doesn’t adequately hint at the film’s premise. The second design is more creative and certainly plays up the scorching of the sun, but doesn’t otherwise talk about the film enough, which could be difficult in convincing someone who hasn’t seen the trailer to watch the film.

Review: A futuristic story about a water-starved society is not original, nor is it particularly inviting when presented like this film is in this trailer. There are plenty of action elements and conflict on display, but there’s no rooting interest, making it difficult for the viewer to latch onto a reason to watch the film in the first place.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
