Poster: B- / C / B- (3)
Review: (#1-#2) A wintry color scheme dominates the first poster design while the second opts for a more traditional, color-poor design. When comparing the two, the first is far more evocative of the title, while the second seems more intent with blending in.
(#3-#5) These character posters thankfully borrow the color palette of the first poster design, which gives them a unifying, wintry feel. They have differing backgrounds, which adds to the creativity without pulling them apart visually.
Trailer: C+ / C
Review: The film looks fairly hokey and predictable, which can help a Valentine’s Day release. The film looks like it will appeal greatly to romantics-at-heart, but even romantics have an incredulity streak, which this film has a strong chance of triggering.
(#2) The premise continues to look bland and cliched, drawn heavily from past romantic dramas with a temporal twist thrown in for unnecessary measure.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
