Review: You get to see everyone in the first design, but the white background and bland collection of mugs only makes it look ridiculously cheap.
The second design is much more interesting, highlights the globe-trotting elements of the film, sets up the rivalry and has a more Muppets-like feel than what they’ve done before.
(#3-#6) The third design is very similar to the second, but feels less interesting by comparison. The remaining three are all French semi-character designs that have a frivolous quality that may seem fun, but is ultimately undistinguished.

Review: An appreciation for The Muppets is required for this trailer and while non-Muppets fans will still be amused, they won’t necessarily demand to see the film. It does, however, look more Muppets-esque than the previous film, which can only be good, though hopefully it doesn’t end up in the same realm as the post-Muppets Take Manhattan films.
Oscar Prospects:
It may be back in the Original Song category, but it won’t show up anywhere else.
Revisions:
(December 1, 2013) Original
(March 16, 2014) New Posters (#3-#6)
