I have made a couple of small modifications to the sidebar on the site to provide more data.

The first change you may notice is the simplified Update Schedule. To see what is scheduled to post on a given day of the week, just hover over the day and a pop up will show you what is being updated.

The second is a change to how I display the box office results. Only the Top 3 performers at the weekend box office will be displayed. If you wish to see the rest of the top 10, click the “Top 10” link of the bottom of that section or, to see a full list, click the link to Box Office Mojo where I get all of my data.

Next, I’ve added two RSS feeds to the sidebar. One is from The Hollywood Reporter’s Film RSS Feed and the other is from IMDB’s news feed. While not all of these are guaranteed to be film updates, I’ve done my best to try and isolate them to film-related only.

The final change is adding a list of the most recent comments to the sidebar. This is purely informative and should give you a quick idea where the latest activity is or has been.

As always, I encourage you to move through the sidebar for other great items including links to the organization to which I belong, a calendar of upcoming events (which includes important festivals) and a section for you to support our site either through a direct donation or by way of a click-thru advertisement.
