Last Week’s Results

To have big names like Steve Carell and Jim Carrey together in one movie, you would expect big things. However, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone was already going into the weekend weakened, but came out of it an absolute bomb. The totals of that and The Call were switched among predictors, most expecting The Call to finish in the low teens while Burt would finish in the upper. The opposite happened, which shows how strong a female-centric plot can drive a film’s success.
