Review: (#1, B-) It’s clear when films are targeted at 80s horror aficionados. This one uses a high school that seems familiar, has the hooded killer and the fist-gripped knife. The color scheme, however, is abysmal. The red and blue aren’t blended together well and it doesn’t adequately reference the plot in any measurable way.

Review: (#1, C+) While there’s some measure of love for 80s horror films in this trailer, its strong start peters out fast when it blends in domestic angst with a well worn formula. Being an homage can only take a film so far and the foundation of the story isn’t impressive enough to make that work as depicted.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
