Review: (#1, C+) While an attempt has been made to make something creative and unique, the dull olive backdrop makes some of the foreground images blend a bit too much. The details are interesting and tie into the film’s set pieces but overall, it’s a disjointed effort that lacks finesse.

Review: (#1, C) There are so many Christmas-themed films invading cineplexes that it’s hard to keep them separated. Kids trying to experience Christmas after parent deaths is a bit moribund for a topic but fitting. Unfortunately, the humor in the trailer is stunted and forgettable which might just foretell what will happen to the film at the box office.
