WIDE RELEASES

THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER

HERETIC

WEEKEND IN TAIPEI

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever

Wesley Lovell: It might be cute enough if I had kids but I don’t so it’s not.

Peter J. Patrick: 1972 novel previously made for TV seems routine at best.

Thomas La Tourrette: I remember enjoying the book, but unsure how the movie will be. If there are enough good reviews, I will consider seeing it.

Heretic

Wesley Lovell: Early word of this one is fantastic, so I’m intrigued.

Peter J. Patrick: Early reviews for this Hugh Grant horror film have been positive.

Thomas La Tourrette: Not really into horror films, but Hugh Grant playing against type is slightly appealing. Will still probably miss it.

Weekend in Taipei

Wesley Lovell: A generic martial arts/actioner that doesn’t look that appealing.

Peter J. Patrick: Luc Besson hasn’t made a decent film since the 1990s.

Thomas La Tourrette: Does not look like anything new.

The Limited Slate

Wesley Lovell: Not a lot this week that piques my interests.

Peter J. Patrick: The Piano Lesson and Small Things Like These for sure with Bird, The Last Rifleman, and Meanwhile on Earth strong possibilities.

Thomas La Tourrette: The Piano Lesson is the only one I am really intrigued by here.
