Review: (#1, C+) A simplistic arrangement of character portraits as postage stamps. Might have worked better as separate character posters, each with their image at the corner of a gaudy present. (#2, C+) A simple arrangement of hand-drawn figures putting everyone in the film onto a massive tree. It’s a nice effort and might make some people curious about the film’s potential. (#3, C) A still from the film isn’t ad appealing as some might think. That it’s been touched up a bit and some background details made less realistic, it seems like a poor choice for advertising purposes as it makes the film look a bit cheap.

Trailer Rating: C-

Review: (#1, C-) A trailer that drags on interminably will lose audiences faster than anything and this one certainly seems to take its time to get to the narrative while also failing to find its own droll premise. Then giving relative unknowns their own revelation scroll seems a bit much. This feels like it’s trying too hard to copy the kind of trailer we were overburdened with in the 1980s.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
