Review: (#1, C+) Perhaps if Cillian Murphy were a marquee star who could draw audiences this design might have a little more oomph. Even then, the staid positioning, the uninspiring background and the soft, blocky titling don’t quite make the case for an overall appeal.

(#2, C) I suppose if you’re a fan of Cillian Murphy, this design might make you want to see the film but others might not be so enthused about it as the content seems non-existent.

Review: (#1, C) There could be some slow boil tension in this film but the trailer cuts much of it off. It makes the case for a film that might have something important to say but doesn’t know how to say it. A trailer shouldn’t give a false impression if it wants to sell a movie.

Oscar Prospects:

Hot off his Oscar win, can Cillian Murphy make a repeat appearance? The film showed early and had some small buzz but that didn’t last.
