Of the three releases, Transfomers One seems more likely to come out on top with Never Let Go a distance second and The Substance an after thought.

WIDE RELEASES

NEVER LET GO

THE SUBSTANCE

TRANSFORMERS ONE

Never Let Go

Wesley Lovell: I like Halle Berry but this looks terrible.

Peter J. Patrick: Derivative standard horror film.

Thomas La Tourrette: It just does not look that exciting or scary.

The Substance

Wesley Lovell: It’s acclaimed but the trailers aren’t good.

Peter J. Patrick: Well-reviewed modern horror film.

Thomas La Tourrette: I do not understand the trailer, but the reviews have me quite intrigued.

Transformers One

Wesley Lovell: Perhaps this is a return to the Transformers of the 1980s but the trailer looks awful.

Peter J. Patrick: Not really my cup of tea but its strong reviews have me somewhat interested.

Thomas La Tourrette: If the movie gets great reviews, I will consider going, but I was not that impressed by the trailer.

LIMITED RELEASES

ALL HAPPY FAMILIES

A DIFFERENT MAN

EUREKA

IN THE SUMMERS

LUMINA

A MISTAKE

OMNI LOOP

SUCCUBUS

THE WAIT

WOLFS

The Limited Slate

Wesley Lovell: A Different Man is one of the year’s most acclaimed films, so it’s definitely a possibility as are a handful of others of these releases.

Peter J. Patrick: Only A Different Man and Omni Loop really pique my interest.

Thomas La Tourrette: None of these films look exactly terrible, well maybe Succubus and Lumina, but none seem that interesting either. Perhaps if they get stellar reviews, but I do not feel inclined to see many of them from their trailers.
