Review: (#1, B+) It’s labeled as a title reveal but feels like the opening to a traditional trailer. Presenting just a small snippet of the gorgeous animation being employed in the film will surely entice fans of Laika’s output. As a teaser, it’s not likely to generate enough interest but it’s a solid start.

Oscar Prospects:

Laika is one of the most consistent animation studios and should be good for a guaranteed nomination. It should have won at least once before but didn’t, so don’t expect a win.
