Review: (#1, C+) While it’s a nice use of space, giving each character their own window and highlighting the prime characters with bigger ones, the dulled yellow-and-orange backgrounds doesn’t connect well and while the design might feel warm as a result, the hard edges cut that impression off.

Review: (#1, C) Edie Falco’s ability to choose great projects on television is strong but for the big screen, it’s weak. This film looks tedious at best with an appealing but poorly conveyed theme of finding one’s place in life outside of the expectations of others.
